Hearing On MLC Kavitha in Delhi Liquor Scam Adjourned To March 13
Delhi/Hyderabad, Sept 26 (Hydnow): BRS MLC K. Kavitha got relief in the Supreme Court. The hearing on the petition filed by her in the Delhi Liquor Scam case was postponed to November 20.
Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul said that there is an extraordinary bench hearing related to the PMLA cases. He said that the investigation would be conducted only after that, It is stated that till then the interim orders which are currently in force will continue. The lawyer for the Enforcement Directorate (ED) told the bench that Kavitha would not be called for questioning till then as per the orders of the Supreme Court.
They were leaving aside the level of women. How come they are not called for investigation? Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul asked. However, the bench said that appropriate preliminary steps should be taken in the study of the women. The next hearing will be conducted on November 20. (Hydnow)
