Take up Reverification of Class X Exams: Lokesh Kumar

Anticipatory Bail Of Nara Lokesh Is Extended To Oct 12

Amaravati, June 9 (Hydnow): TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh said to Jagan Mohan Reddy Government to take up ‘reverification‘ instead of revaluation to ensure justice to students in 10th class examinations.

He urged the government to waive fee for ‘reverification‘ and ‘supplementary exams’. He said the Chief Minister and the education Minister should review and release a white paper on the present situation in education sector in Andhra Pradesh.

Interacting with parents and students, Lokesh said the YCP regime should place before the public the pass percentage in government schools. A teacher at Bendapudi school worked hard to teach American accent to rural students but Jagan Reddy took credit for that.

Now, the CM was unwilling to take responsibility for the failure of two lakh students. Lokesh asserted that the suicides of failed students should be considered as ‘Government murders‘. The TDP would continue its fight till justice would be done to the failed candidates. The Government should give compensation to the families of the deceased students.

Lokesh termed it as atrocious that not a single student passed in over 71 government schools. He accused the ruling party of looting Rs. 3,500 Cr in the name of school children. He promised to cancel CPS in a week but betrayed teachers totally after coming to power. Agitating teachers were being harassed by filing false cases against them.

Condemning the government’s attitude, Lokesh said even the promise of mega DSC to fill teacher posts was not fulfilled. Not a single new teacher post was given in the past three years. Very poor results were because of lack of committed teachers alone.

Lokesh said there were suspicions over the government’s conspiracy behind largescale failure of 10th students. The Jagan regime was trying to reduce the number of eligible students under Amma Vodi so that there would be a lesser financial burden. (Hydnow)
