Amaravati, Feb.11 (Hydnow): TDP national president Nara Chandrababu Naidu today accused Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of turning the State into debt ridden.
Stating that the successive governments took ₹3.14 lakh crore loans in the 66 years, he said Jagan Mohan Reddy government borrowed from ₹3.14 lakh crore to ₹7 lakh crore loans during its three year rule.
Speaking to media persons here today, Naidu claimed that the treasury of the State turned empty. He alleged that Jagan had kept a target of selling all public properties and said Jagan was under impression that he would be the last CM of Andhra Pradesh. “The population of the State is five crore now. Every man in the State has ₹5 to ₹6 lakh debt on his or her head. The State government was forcefully collecting taxes from the people.

The public properties like district collectorates and residential schools are being mortgaged by the State government,” he said and alleged that the Chief Minister had destroyed all constitutional institutions. He demanded that the CM release a white paper on the economic status of the State.
He appealed to the people to rise to the occasion and stop the atrocities committed by the ruling party. He also alleged that the Jagan government had destroyed ₹2 lakh crore worth State capital Amaravati. He said the State government had filed false complaint against TDP MLC Ashok Babu for fighting on behalf of the State government employees. (Hydnow)
