Hyderabad: Road Crash, A teenager died and his friend injured when the bike they were riding was hit by a rashly driven truck on the Madannapet road in Saidabad on Tuesday morning.
The victim was identified as K Yogi (19) from Old Balaji Nagar in Meerpet and the injured is Revanth Kumar (21). According to the police, the incident occurred when the duo was proceeding from IS Sadan junction towards Madannapet road, on Yogi’s bike and the truck collided them from the side.
They fell on the road and suffered grievous injuries. While Yogi was declared dead at the hospital, Revanth is undergoing treatment.
The Saidabad police booked a case and arrested the driver of the truck M Srisailam for rash and negligent driving.
