KTR: BJP Promise To Make BC Candidates CM Of Telangana
Hyderabad, Feb.3 (Hydnow): “Telangana is the only State in the country giving double bedroom houses free of cost to the poor”, declared Municipal & Industries Minister K T Rama Rao. He inaugurated a set of 210 houses built under the two-bedroom housing scheme by the State government at Khairatabad here.
Speaking on the occasion, KTR said the poor were getting good houses in the State. He said the State government was giving 2BHK houses to the poor which is worth of Rs 50 lakhs to Rs 60 lakh. Another biggest Township in Asia is going to be launched soon at Kollur on the city outskirts for the poor, KTR said, adding that the two-bedroom houses are being offered free of cost to the poor.
The minister also said the housing facility for the poor is for self respect and better living with more amenities. “The poor people do not need to give money to anyone and regardless of recommendations to get housing facilities. Only our State is giving such houses for the poor to make a better living”.

He said soon Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will inaugurate a housing colony built at Kollur area near the city. He said the housing facility in Kollur was ready and built at a cost of Rs 9,714 crore. In four or five days, the Chief Minister will inaugurate this housing facility and give the houses to the deserving poor, he maintained.
Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav, Home Minister Mahamood Ali, MLA Danam Nagender, Mayor Vijaya Lakshmi, GHMC Commissioner Lokesh Kumar and others were present. (Hydnow)
