Hyderabad, Aug.2 (Hydnow): Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said Telangana is number one State in terms of law and order and people are feeling secure under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav along with his cabinet colleague Mahmood Ali, MLAs Danam Nagender, Maganti Gopinath, GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, Deputy Mayor and senior police officers inspected the ongoing arrangements at Banjara Hills here on Tuesday for the newly built Integrated Commond Control Centre (CCC), which will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister on August 4.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Talasani said that the CCC was going to be an iconic landmark in public safety and it would enable the police to identify and catch those who have violated rules and regulations, quickly.

The Integrated Command and Control Centre, a first for the nation, would assist the police in connecting the operations of several units under one roof and will also serve as a platform for crisis management, disaster management and other significant emergency situations, Talasani said.

Meanwhile, arrangements are going on in full swing to complete all the works in a stipulated period.

Recently, Minister for Roads and Buildings Prashanth Reddy have visited the CCC and informed that appropriate arrangements are being made at the CCC that visitors can view the city of Hyderabad from 14th floor of the iconic building.

City Police Commissioner CV Anand is closely monitoring the works. Hundreds of workers are removing trees on the road near the entrance and planting bamboo trees around the compound wall. Dividers near the main entrance and pending works near the gate are being completed. Efforts are being made to complete all the work before the deadline.

The State government is constructing the CCC at a cost of Rs.585 crores. In 2015, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao laid the foundation stone for the command control building. (Hydnow)
