Delhi/Hyderabad, April 19 (Hydnow): The United Nations has released the census report of World Population – 2023. It revealed that the population of India is more than any other country in the world. India has surpassed China in terms of population.
At present China’s population is 142.57 crores, and India’s population has reached 142.86 crores. However, it is not clear when India crossed China’s population.
In the figures released by the United Nations on Wednesday, India has surpassed China with a population of 29 lakhs in the middle of this year. However, India has never surpassed China’s population in the past. The United Nations report revealed that the United States of America is the third most populous country after India and China with a population of 340 million. (Hydnow)
