TRS Followed Footsteps Of TDP: Congress MLC

Jeevan Reddy Made Hot Comments On Contesting Elections

Hyderabad, Oct. 6 (Hydnow): Congress MLC T. Jeevan Reddy today mocked that the TRS party had followed the footsteps of TDP in turning itself into a national political party. He said both the TRS and TDP were formed under special circumstances in the State.

Speaking to media persons, Jeevan Reddy alleged that the two parties transformed themselves into national political parties in order to hide their failures. He said the bad luck attached to the State had gone with the announcement of the BRS marking Vijaya Dasami festival. He alleged that the inefficiency of CM KCR was responsible for the debt-ridden status of Telangana. He ridiculed that the CM was targeting the country to do his politics in order to escape from his administrative failures.

He alleged that the CM failed to achieve the share of the State in river water allocations. He asked KCR whether it was his failure or a result of a secret understanding with his Andhra Pradesh counterpart YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

He asked KCR as to what he did when the seven manuals of the erstwhile Khammam district were merged with the neighboring Andhra Pradesh State. He said the State had lost the Sileru power project due to the submergence problem of the Polavaram project.

He said the State government would have escaped from the burden spending of ₹1 lakh crores on the construction of the Kaleswaram lift irrigation project if the Tummidihatti project was constructed by the State government.

Commenting on the free power scheme, he said that the scheme had been in force even before the formation of the Telangana State and made it clear that KCR did not introduce it. He alleged that the State government had removed subsidies on crop loans and added that it had also not implemented crop loan waiver schemes so far in the State. (Hydnow)
