TSPSC Paper Leak Case: ED Enter in the Field

TSPSC | Hyderabad, April 11 (Hydnow): A key development has taken place in the Telangana Public Service Commission (TSPSC) paper leakage case. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) stepped in. It has been decided to take the statements of accused Praveen and Rajasekhar Reddy.

A petition has been filed in the Nampally Court seeking permission to record the statements of both of them. ED suspects that a huge amount of money changed hands in the question paper leakage case. Money laundering is suspected. The ED has mainly focussed on Shankara Lakshmi, the confidential section officer, who has been named as a witness by the SIT officials. Along with her, ED issued notices to Satyanarayana of TSPSC. It is stated in the notices to attend the hearing on Wednesday and Thursday. On the other hand, Praveen and Rajasekhar will be taken into custody and ED will interrogate them.

The SIT officials, who continued the investigation for a month, arrested a total of 17 people. 15 of them were taken into custody and many details were obtained. The officers interrogated around 150 people. TSPSC Chairman, Janardhan Reddy, Secretary Anita Ramachandran, and member Lingareddy recorded the statements of many people. In the investigation report, the report of the Central Forensic Science Laboratory was also attacked, which found the question papers in the pen drives and mobiles of the accused. (Hydnow)
