Union Minister Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar Calls on AP Governor
Vijayawada, June 12 (Hydnow): Dr Bharati Pravin Pawar, Union Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare, today called on Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan at Raj Bhavan on a courtesy visit.
On her arrival at Raj Bhavan, the Union Minister was welcomed by Dr Sanyasi Rao, Deputy Secretary to Governor. Dr Bharati Pravin Pawar, who is on a visit to the State, briefed Governor Harichandan on the implementation of Government of India’s flagship health program ‘Ayushman Bharat’ across the country for the benefit of poor and weaker sections of the society.
She also briefed the Governor about her visit to a few YSR Village Health Clinics and PHCs in the State and the status of implementation of Ayushman Bharat scheme at grassroot level and about her visit to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Mangalagiri.
The Union Minister was accompanied by her husband Pravin Pawar. Governor Harichandan felicitated Dr Bharati Pravin Pawar with presentation of a memento and shawl. (Hydnow)
