Unveiling the Incident: Woman Slaps MLA Amidst Flood Crisis in Haryana

Haryana: On Wednesday, in the Guhla area of Kaithal district, Haryana, which is grappling with floods, an enraged resident reportedly slapped Ishwar Singh, an MLA from the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP). The incident occurred during Singh’s tour of the flood-ravaged regions.

The aggrieved woman was part of a crowd that had gathered upon Ishwar Singh’s arrival, all of whom were reportedly exasperated by the inadequate drainage system that had caused the waterlogging. They also expressed their frustration about the delay in his visit, with one visibly infuriated woman slapping the MLA.

Now, the video of a woman slapping MLA is going viral on social media. In the clip, the woman and other locals can be heard questioning the MLA’s delayed response, asking, “Why have you come now?”

Ishwar Singh’s personal security officers intervened to protect him from the altercation. In a subsequent media interview, Ishwar Singh expressed his forgiveness for the woman and stated he would not be pursuing any legal action against her, saying, “I won’t be taking any legal action against the woman. I have forgiven her.”
