Hyderabad, Aug.12 (Hydnow): Former MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy today said the verdict to be given by the Citizens of Munugodu should go down in history by ensuring the end of family-based and feudal rule in Telangana. He said the fight in Munugodu was not between different political parties, but against the corrupt rule of CM KCR and his atrocities.

He reiterated his claims that the TRS government and its administration would react only if there was an election in Telangana. He claimed that fresh pensions were being given by CM KCR after his resignation and added that a special scheme for the weavers of the State was introduced only after he raised their problems.

He claimed that CM KCR announced the creation of the Gattuppal Mandal as soon as he met Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He said there was no development in the Munugodu constituency so far.

He claimed that the State government was giving Rs 20 lakh to each village following his resignation. He alleged that KCR did not even give appointments to the MLAs of the Opposition political parties. He said the CM was coming to Munugodu on the 20th of this month to take part in the upcoming by-elections campaign.

Talking about the problems that exist in the Munugodu seat, Rajagopal Reddy said the condition of the road between Choutuppal and Puttapaka was very pathetic and added that the State government was now laying the road was being re-laid by spending Rs 5 crore on a war footing. He alleged that the State government had not even given funds for the development of his constituency.

Raising the issue of rejoining the field assistants of the State, he claimed that the State government took them back in the wake of the by-elections in his constituency. He said none would believe the allegations of the TRS party leaders about him. (Hydnow)
