Manair River Front Project will be Developed Soon: Kamalakar
Hyderabad, Nov.6 (Hydnow): BC Welfare Minister Gangula Kamalakar today said that the Manair River front project will be developed as an ideal one at national level.
The Minister held a review meeting with officials concerned about the Maneru project development as a tourist spot with modern facilities.
Stating that there is no dearth of funds for it, the minister and officials gave a nod in principle for development works at the Manair dam area in the district. He asked them to prepare a plan in a week to take up the works and gave a nod for design for flood flow at the site.

The Manair development works will be taken based on 80000 cusecs to 3.5 tmc water at the site. The government offered a green signal for half barrage and half veer works of the project.
As part of the works the officials completed the works of a suspension bridge.
He instructed that the works related be launched in December.

The Minister asked to complete the works related to world class facilities at the riverfront.
The works are hospitality, children’ park, water fountain, boating, cycling, walking track and others. ENC Muralidhar, Tourism ED Shankar Reddy and others present. (Hydnow)
