Hyderabad, Jan.17 (Hydnow): Telangana High Court today instructed the state government to increase testing of corona patients and also said that conduct 1 lakh RTPCR tests to check corona.

Hearing a petition the court said that the government should take up one lakh RTPCR tests every day.

Increase vaccination and ensure corona protocols are followed by the court. The court asked the officials to conduct RTPCR and rapid tests and give related reports.


The High Court also instructed that the health officials should implement corona protocols of wearing masks, sanitizing hands, and maintaining social distance.

The AG of the government informed that the Cabinet to be held on Monday will take a decision on stricter measures to check virus spread on corona cases and related issues.

The court remarks came at a time when corona cases are increasing in the state and across the country. AG said that the government is to take a decision to check virus spread by taking more measures in its cabinet meeting to be chaired by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.


The court instructed the officials of the health department to submit details of the tests, recoveries, steps taken to check the virus spread and facilities and related data. The court adjourned the case to Jan 25 to hear it further, according to information. (Hydnow)
