Hyderabad, April 11: Amit Shah targets Mamata Banerjee over women safety in Bengal during an election rally. The Union Home Minister accused the state government of ignoring crimes against women.

He said several incidents had raised concern across the country. He alleged that ruling party supporters were involved in such acts. Therefore, he warned of strict action if BJP comes to power.

Shah said those responsible for crimes will face legal action. He also alleged violence against BJP workers in the state. Moreover, he claimed that over 300 party workers were killed in past incidents.


He warned anti social elements not to disrupt polling. Elections in West Bengal will be held on April 23 and 29. Meanwhile, he assured that voters will be able to vote freely.

He also raised concerns over illegal infiltration. He said it affects jobs and resources. However, the ruling party has not responded to these claims.
