An Action Plan on Ward Level Sanitation Should be Prepared: GHMC Commissioner

Hyderabad, August 24: GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose has directed the officials to prepare an action plan on ward level sanitation within a week. After inspecting the work of SNDP and Multi-Purpose Function Hall in Secunderabad zonal area on Thursday, Commissioner reviewed Sanitation with Additional Commissioner of Sanitation, Zonal Commissioner, DCs and AMHOs in Secunderabad zonal office.

On this occasion, the commissioner said, In the ward level sanitation plan, whatever measures should be taken from the basic level to the dump yard should be included in the plan, apart from garbage collection, construction waste, sweeping, lifting and transport should be included in the ward level plan. They said that a plan has been made for their collection of house-to-house clean auto day and other matters.

Earlier, the Commissioner inspected the completed bridges on Minister Road at Karachi Bakery through SNDP. Similarly, Dhaniyala Gutta Grave Yard, Pati Gadda Multi Purpose Function Hall, Bansilal Pate Stepwell were inspected.

Along with the Commissioner, Additional Commissioner Sanitation Upender Reddy, Secunderabad Zonal Commissioner Ravi Kiran, Deputy Commissioners, AMOs and others participated.
