Army Recruitment Rally To Be Held In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, November 15 (Hydnow): The Army Recruitment Rally, conducted under the Unit Headquarters Quota, is scheduled to take place at Thapar Stadium, AOC Centre, Secunderabad, from January 1 to March 10, 2024.

This rally aims to enroll candidates for various categories, including Agniveer GD, Agniveer Tech, Agniveer Adm Assistant/SKT (AOC ward only), Agniveer Tradesmen 10TH Std (Artisan Misc Works, Chef, Steward), Agniveer Tradesmen 8th Std (Housekeeper), and Outstanding Sportsmen (Open Category).

Outstanding Sportsmen (Open Category) are required to report at Thapar Stadium, AOC Centre, Secunderabad, by 0600 hrs on December 29, 2023, for sports trials.

Those who have excelled at the International Level or National Level (representing the State) in Athletics (including Track and field events), Swimming and diving, and Weight Lifting are eligible. Certificates should not be more than two years old on the screening date.

The age criteria for Agniveer GD, Tech (AE), Adm Assistant/SKT, Tdn 10th Std, and Tdn 8th Std is between 17½ to 21 years.

Educational qualifications vary for each category. Agniveer GD requires a Class 10th/Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate. Candidates with a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License receive preference for Driver positions.

For Agniveer Tech, candidates must have passed the 10+2/Intermediate Exam in Science with (PCM & English) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject. Alternatively, candidates with a 10th/Matric pass with 50% in aggregate and min 40% in English, Maths, and Science, along with two years of Technical Training from ITI or Two/Three years diploma, are eligible.

Agniveer Adm Assistant/SKT requires a 10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in any stream with 60% Marks in Aggregate and a minimum of 50% in each subject, with specific requirements in English and Maths/Accounts/Bookkeeping.

For Agniveer Tdn (10th Std), a simple pass in Class 10th is sufficient, while for Agniveer Tdn (8th Std), a Class 8th Simple pass is required.
