Hyderabad, April 12: ATM cash missing case of Rs 1.2 crore in Hyderabad surfaced under SR Nagar police limits. Officials found a major cash shortage during a routine audit.

The complaint was filed by Naveen, branch manager of CMS Info Systems Limited. Therefore, police registered a case and began an investigation.

CMS handles cash collection and deposits for ATMs. However, a recent audit exposed serious discrepancies in multiple machines.


ATM cash missing case of Rs 1.2 crore in Hyderabad involves 31 ATMs inspected in SR Nagar. Moreover, officials found shortages in eight ATMs.

The total missing amount reached Rs 1,20,98,500. Therefore, suspicion has fallen on two custodians linked to the operation.

Both suspects failed to report for duty. In addition, they did not respond to phone calls, raising further suspicion.


Police have launched a search for the absconding accused. Meanwhile, officials continue the investigation to trace the missing cash.
