Bengaluru/Hyderabad, Aug 27 (Hydnow): The Chandrayaan-3 satellite’s Pragyan rover has studied the surface of the moon and transmitted the information to ISRO.  This is the first time that information about the fluctuation of temperature relative to the surface of the Moon’s south pole has reached the world.

Chandrayaan-3 not only successfully landed on Chanduri but also started its operation.  On Saturday, Pragyan rover Zabilli touched down from the Vikram lander at Shiv Shakti Point and began the studies.  10 cm on the surface of the moon. The Pragyan rover, which has studied the surface at depth, has for the first time transmitted information about the soil near the south pole of the Moon to Earth.

The Chaste (Lunar Surface Thermophysical Experiment) payload studied the temperatures of the lunar surface.  ISRO shared this information on its official X (formerly Twitter) account.  In this graph shared by ISRO, it seems that the surface temperature of the moon has increased from 10 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius.  This graph shows the variation in temperature on the moon’s surface with depth.  This is the first study of the Moon’s south police.  Deeper observations are still underway, “ISRO tweeted.
