Hyderabad, June 13 (Hydnow): Recently, as devotees are aware, Chilkur Balaji Temple decided not to open Temple for Devotees from June 8th even after Union Government had allowed temples to open as Unlock 1 from Covid-19.

The priest in a press release had said that the Google snippets had wrongly shown that the Temple is open since June 8 but the truth is otherwise.

Since June 11, a few devotees are coming all the way to Chilkur to go back disappointed. Some devotees had said that Google shows the Temple is open.

The Priest had cautioned the devotees not believe Google but the ‘Panthul’ (priest in Telugu). Don’t believe everything you search. Or at least, not the featured snippets that Google puts at the top of search results.

“The featured snippets feature is an automatic and algorithmic match to the search query, and the content comes from third-party sites,” Google said in an emailed statement. “We’re always working to improve our algorithms, and we welcome feedback on incorrect information.”

User Devotees of Chilkur please report on the incorrect information through a “Feedback” button at the bottom right of the featured snippet as requested by the Chilkur priest. (Hydnow)
