Former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu today at the Padma Awards Ceremony said that Megastar Chiranjeevi is the third eye of the Telugu Cinema.
During the event, Naidu spoke about the new methodology adopted in selecting the awardees for the Padma Awards. He praised the central government for recognizing the “gems hidden in the soil” and awarding individuals who might not have received recognition otherwise.
He likened the legendary Telugu cinema actors NTR and ANR to two eyes of the Telugu film mother goddess and described Chiranjeevi, who has received the Padma Vibhushan, as the third eye. Naidu expressed his happiness over Chiranjeevi receiving the award, stating that one doesn’t lose anything by working hard in their beloved field. He emphasized that with determination and effort, anything is achievable.
Naidu mentioned that he had not received many awards or honors in his life. “When the center said they are awarding me, I accepted it with respect for Modi,” he clarified.
Furthermore, Naidu called for individuals in public life to adhere to values. He expressed concern over the recent events in the Parliament and state assemblies, describing them as distressing.
Center has given the green signal to the scheme to provide free electricity to crore families.
