City Police Seized 7.7 KG Gold, 11.7 KG Silver, Rs. 5.1 Cr Cash Till Now
Hyderabad, Oct 11 (Hydnow): The Hyderabad City Police has intensified its city-wide enforcement efforts against illicit money, drugs, liquor, freebies, and other inducements.
Since October 9th to till date (morning hours), the police have successfully made significant seizures and interceptions, which include: Precious Metals:
Gold: 7.706 kilograms, valued at 42 crores (calculated at a rate of 55,000/- per 10 grams)
Silver: 11.700 kilograms, worth 8.77 lakh (evaluated at 75,000/- per kilogram) Cash: Rs 5.1 crore Liquor: 110 litres Drugs: 2 kilograms of Ganja Mobile phones: 23 PDS Rice: 43 quintals
Local Police, Flying squad teams, Commissioner’s Taskforce, and other wings are slogging 24/7 monitoring and maintaining a tight vigil.
The Hyderabad City Police earnestly reiterates its request to all citizens for their active participation and support by promptly reporting any instances of suspicious activities occurring in their respective localities (Hydnow)
