Hyderabad Now
Hyderabad, Feb.11 (Hydnow): Founder-president of YSRTP YS Sharmila today lashed out at Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for failing to fulfill his promise of providing ex gratia to 133 farmers, who had committed suicides seven years back.
Stating that the Chief Minister had promised to pay Rs six lakh as ex gratia to affected farmers, Sharmila said the GO related to payment of ex gratia was confined only to papers since 2015 and added that the family members of the affected farmers were still waiting for the compensation from the State government.
She said the Chief Minister was not able to remember about the GO issued by his government until the strictures passed by the High Court.
She said the courts should direct the State government to appoint members for TSPSC, constitute various commissions and extend compensation to the kin of farmers. (Hydnow)
