Hyderabad, Feb 3 (Hydnow): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday demanded that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao be declared an anti-national and a traitor because he dared to call for a new Constitution and tried to malign the godly image of Bharat Ratna Dr. BR Ambedkar.
Revanth Reddy said that KCR has never been a friend of Dalits and has always ignored them and their welfare. To him, they are just a vote-bank that needs to be cultivated to serve his greed for power. His much-trumpeted Dalit Bandhu scheme is also meant to cheat the people of the State. It is not for any love for Dalits but his way of buying their votes. People are not fools as they have seen his true colours, he said.
CM KCR is Anti-National, a Traitor: TPCC Chief
The TPCC Chief alleged that CM KCR even uses police forces to suit his interests. Even there he has been promoting bias and divisive politics and patronizing his ‘yes-men’. KCR is against the proposed amendments to the All India Services (Cadre) Rules, 1954. His utterances are part of the BJP-KCR deal, he said.
“One should note that many upright IAS and IPS officers from Telangana have openly resented the interference by State Government authorities. They have taken voluntary retirement from service because they could no longer stand the KCR diktat,” he said.
Revanth Reddy said that the Congress leaders and workers held a protest against KCR across Telangana State on Thursday. A deeksha was also held at party headquarters Gandhi Bhavan. He said that the Congress would continue its protest until KCR withdrew his remarks and tender an unconditional apology. (Hydnow)
