Hyderabad, April 12 (Hydnow): Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao expressed shock over the fatal accident at Cheemalapadu in Karepalli Mandal of Khammam district. Minister for Transport Puvvada Ajay Kumar rushed to the spot as soon as he came to know that the cylinder exploded in an unexpected manner in the BRs spiritual meeting.

MP Nama Nagehwar Rao who was in the area of the accident also called and inquired about the details of the accident. KCR announced financial aid of Rs. 5 lakhs from the party and Rs. 2 lakh financial aid from the government. Khammam BRS MP Nama Nageshwar Rao on his behalf specially for the families of the deceased Rs. 2.50 lakh. On the other hand, Minister K.Tarak Rama Rao also expressed shock over the accident.

BRS MP Nama Nageshwar Rao, Waira MLA, and many public representatives attended the BRS spiritual meeting organized at Cheemalapadu. But the activists burst firecrackers while inviting the leaders. As a result, the sparks flew and fell on a hut 200 meters away from the Assembly premises. As a result, the gas cylinder in the hut caught fire and exploded. As a result, eight people were seriously injured. One of the injured died. the injured are being treated at Khammam Government Hospital. (Hydnow)
