Delhi/Hyderabad, June 18 (Hydnow): A bomb threat to a Dubai bound plane from the Indira Gandhi International Airport in the national capital Delhi created a commotion.
The flight was ready at Delhi Airport at around 9.35 AM on Monday morning for Dubai. It will take off shortly.
Delhi Police said on Tuesday that some people have sent a threatening mail to the office of Delhi International Airport Limited, IGI (Indira Gandhi International Airport) saying that there is a bomb on the plane.
They said that there was a bomb in the plane. As per the protocol with the threatening mail, they said that the plane was checked thoroughly.
However, no explosives of suspicious items were found during the inspections. The police clarified that it was fake mail.
A case has been registered and investigation has been started. (Hydnow)
