Jagtial/Hyderabad, Oct 24 (Hydnow): A tragic incident took place in Jagtial district where a drunk man killed his wife for not cooking egg curry during the festival.
Katta Sanjay who lives in TR Nagar in Jagtial district had a fight with his wife Sumalatha (33) over egg curry. it is reported that Sanjay, who was under the influence of alcohol, attacked his wife for not cooking egg curry during the festival and strangled her to death.
After learning about the matter, the police immediately reached the spot and investigated. Later, the dead body was recovered and taken to the local government hospital for post-mortem. Locals say that for the last few days, there has been a family dispute and a fight between the husband and wife.
