Election-related seizure Crosses Rs 500 Crore In The State
Hyderabad, Nov 8 (Hydnow): Since the release of the Election schedule and the Election Code of Conduct came into force in the Telangana State, the property seized so far has reached Rs. 518,90,13,033.
In this regard, the Office of the Telangana State Chief Electoral Officer issued a statement stating that from 9 a.m. on Monday to 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Rs. 3,21,59,125 in cash Rs. 3,52,13,849 worth of liquor, Rs. 1,76,44,810 worth of drugs, Rs. 20,91,425 worth of gold, Sarees and cookers worth Rs. 11,57,99,379 were seized, Rs. 20,20,83,018 worth of property was seized within 24 hours. The Union Home Minister has alerted the states of the country in the wake of the Indo-Pak War. The Telangana government and police, which were immediately alerted, took preemptive measures. Security has been tightened in Hyderabad.
