In a shocking incident, a private tutor pretending to be a scientist from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has been apprehended by local authorities.
The individual, identified as Mitul Trivedi, was taken into custody for allegedly fabricating claims about his involvement in designing the lander module for the upcoming Chandrayaan-3 moon mission.
Mitul Trivedi, aged in his late 30s, reportedly used the false persona of an ISRO scientist to attract more students to his tuition classes within the city of Surat.
The incident came to light when Trivedi began giving interviews to local media outlets. During these interviews, he falsely asserted that he had played a key role in crafting the module for Chandrayaan-3, particularly highlighting his supposed achievement after the successful landing of the Vikram lander on the moon’s surface on August 23.
