Hyderabad, Oct.10 (Hydnow): In a tragic incident, five members from the same family died when the wall of their house collapsed due to the heavy rains that lashed on Saturday. The incident took place Kothapally village of of Aija mandal of Jogulamba Gadwal district .
According to the details revealed by local police , the victims were sleeping in the hut when the incident took place. They said that the wall of the hut fell on the victims killing them on the spot. The victims have been identified as Shantamma, Charan ,Teja Mosha and Ramu. However two children of the family – Sneha and Chinna– escaped from the accident with injuries.
They were rushed to Kurnool hospital for treatment in 108 vehicle. A pall of gloom descended on the entire village due to the death of five members of the same family. The police reached the spot and took up the rescue operations . (Hydnow)
