Farooq Abdullah Criticizes The Arrest Of Chandrababu Naidu
NC president Farooq Abdullah has expressed his disapproval of the arrest of former Chief Minister and current opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu in Andhra Pradesh.
Farooq Abdullah, a prominent leader of the National Conference, strongly condemned the arrest of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chief. He believes that arresting Chandrababu Naidu, especially at a time when he is working to strengthen his party ahead of elections, was a wrong decision.
Moreover, Farooq Abdullah cautioned the ruling YSRCP government in Andhra Pradesh against the belief that arresting Chandrababu would weaken him. Instead, he asserted that this action might make Chandrababu Naidu even stronger in his political pursuits.
The Union Home Minister has alerted the states of the country in the wake of the Indo-Pak War. The Telangana government and police, which were immediately alerted, took preemptive measures. Security has been tightened in Hyderabad.
