Hyderabad, Dec 26 (Hydnow): Due to the dense fog, not only the vehicles on the opposite side but also the people are not visible. Due to this, traffic on the roads is facing serious problems. Even at 10 a.m. in Hyderabad, vehicles are moving with their lights on.  Road accidents are taking place in some other places. The effect of this fog also hit the planes. Pilots cannot see the runway due to dense fog at Shamshabad airport. 

The Air Traffic control officials took action.  flights were stopped at the airport from 6 am to 9 am.  Around 35 national and international flights were diverted within those three hours.  The diverted flights were sent to Vijayawada, Bangalore, Mumbai, and Nagpur cities. 

Flights from Goa, Thiruvananthapuram, and Chandigarh to reach Hyderabad at 8.30 am were sent to Vijayawada Gannavaram Airport. Officials explained that the services started after 9 am due to fog.  the diverted flights returned to Hyderabad.  However, due to the fog, the passengers were in a lot of trouble.  (Hydnow)
