Govt. Approved For Establishment Of 5 New DMHOs In HyderabadHigh Court Made Strong Comments Against Govt

Hyderabad, Aug.27 (Hydnow): Telangana Government today objected to the Centre for its plan to release funds to Veligonda project in Andhra Pradesh which has no permission and water allocation. In a letter to the Centre ENC Muralidhar informed that Veligonda project has no permission and violates norms by shifting water outside. It is violation and the Centre cannot give funds through AIBP to Veligonda project in AP as no permission is given to it as per a Gazette, he explained.

We have already been informed that the Veligonda project is not legal and violating all norms. This is taking our water without any water allocation, he objected.

The Centre should check the veracity of the project whether it has allocation. He also appealed to the Centre to find whether Veligonda has eligibility to get funds from it. (Hydnow)
