High Court Challenging Release Of Funds To Tablighi Jamaat
Hyderabad, Jan.19 (Hydnow): Telangana High Court today canceled the GOs issued on May 7, 2017 increasing fees of post graduate, medical and dental colleges in the private sector in the state.
On a petition, the court directed the colleges to return fees in 30 days to the students if they collected more than it is supposed to.
The Court asked to follow fees structure as per TAFRC 20160-19 and not to implement fresh GOs to hike the fees. The government issued a GOs on May 7, 2017, to hike the fees from 2017-2020 and got wrath from the medical students.

The Court also directed that the certificates to the PG medical students should be offered without any problems.
The government recently issued a GO to hike fees in medical and dental colleges in the private sector. However it was opposed by the medical students.
On the petition the court observed that the government cannot levy burden on the medical students to pursue education. (Hydnow)
