Hyderabad, May 24 (Hydnow): BJP MLA Etala Rajender today said the hopes of people of Telangana that they would get their share in water, funds and jobs had been shattered in the ruling TRS party rule.
He alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was working hard for the development of his family but not for the development of the State. He also said the status of Turkapally mandal was the classic example of the same.
Rajender ridiculed that the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was the only CM, who had issued orders to the farmers not to cultivate paddy in the entire country. He alleged that CM was concerned about Punjab farmers instead of worrying about the farmers of the State.
He predicted that BJP would form the next government in Telangana. Talking about ongoing paddy procurement drive, he alleged that the officials of the State government were harassing farmers in the name of deduction of paddy while weighting it. (Hydnow)
I could never wrap my head around Bollywood’s obsession with continuously addressing condom as a chhatri or an umbrella. Not only it’s cringe to hear repeatedly but also, it somewhere defeats the whole purpose with which films around these subjects are made. Moreover, picking a taboo subject and making a film on it can turn out to be quite risky if you don’t stick to the agenda and beat around the bush. Thankfully, Rakul Preet Singh’s Chhatriwali, directed by Tejas Prabhaa Vijay Deoskar, doesn’t digress much, and follows a crisp screenplay. There are some flaws here and there, but with all the humour and lighter moments, they can be somewhat overlooked.
