Hyderabad, Aug.5 (Hydnow): India’s First Virtual Career Fair-2020 being Organized by Hyderabad Based Guru Nanak Institutions initiated with an inauguration by Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary-I& C, IT, Dept. Govt. of Telangana. The Virtual Career Fair is the first of its kind initiative by an Institution in India to help students get jobs/career during Covid-19 time, the participation in the job fair is completely Free.

The fair provides an opportunity for undergraduates and post graduates, who can secure jobs in more than 40 companies having more than 2500 openings across various verticals.

The career fair adopts an integrated approach wherein the entire job recruitment process is being conducted online. The companies will directly conduct online test, online interviews of registered students for hiring them. All the Undergraduates (BA/BSc/BBA/BCom/BCA/B-Tech/B-Pharmacy) and Post graduates (M- Pharmacy/MBA/M-Tech/MA) etc from 2017 batch onwards having 55% and above, can vie for opportunity at the Virtual Career Fair-2020. Over 9000 Candidates have registered for the fair and will look out to participate in the Job Fair.

Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary-I& C, IT, Dept. Govt. of Telangana, appreciated the efforts of Guru Nanak Institutions & congratulated Sardar G.S Kohli, Vice Chairman Guru Nanak Institutions on taking up the efforts during this time of pandemic and helping students in securing job in some reputed organizations. Jayesh Ranjan interacted with the HRs, shared his views and requested the employers to hire maximum people as Covid 19 has really demoralized the job seekers.
