Hyderabad, April 12: HYDRAA reclaims 861 acres in Sangareddy during a major anti encroachment drive on Saturday. Officials said the land is valued at around Rs 15000 crore.
The operation took place in Ameenpur with support from multiple departments. Moreover, revenue, municipal, and police teams joined the drive. Authorities ensured heavy police presence during the action.
HYDRAA reclaims 861 acres in Sangareddy as part of a coordinated enforcement effort. Therefore, officials removed several illegal structures from the site.
During the drive, teams demolished a six story apartment. In addition, they cleared a swimming pool and a guest house. Officials confirmed that all structures stood on encroached government land.
The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency led the operation. Meanwhile, officials said such drives will continue to protect public land.
