Hyderabad, Oct 7 (Hydnow): Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded India’s historic performance of 100 medals in the Asian Games being held in Hangzhou, China.
Appreciating the sportspersons who have brought awards to India, Prime Minister Modi said that their performance in sports was awe-inspiring.
“This is a memorable win for India at the Asian Games. The people of India are delighted to have reached the milestone of 100 medals. I congratulate wholeheartedly for the extraordinary athletes who have made this historic milestone for India, “Modi said in a tweet.” Prime Minister Modi said he is looking forward to hosting the Asian Games team on October 10, where he will interact with the athletes.
