Hyderabad, April 12: An Inter student suicide after exam failure was reported in Adilabad district after a first year student failed in two subjects.
The victim, Jillapelli Soujanya, 17, belonged to Dantanapalli village in Utnur mandal. She died by suicide at her home when no one was present. However, the incident came to light after her family returned.
Soujanya had failed in two subjects in the Inter first year results. As a result, she reportedly fell into distress after seeing her marks. Meanwhile, other students were celebrating their results across the state.

The Inter student suicide after exam failure left her family in deep grief. Her parents said she worked hard for the exams. However, they said she feared failure and felt unable to cope.
They stated she could have appeared again for the exams. However, they questioned why she took the extreme step. Police are expected to register a case and begin an inquiry into the incident.
