Moscow: According to Russia’s Sputnik news agency, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) announced on Monday that its agents had arrested an ISIS suicide bomber who was planning a terrorist assault against a member of India’s ruling class.

Russia’s FSB stated in a statement that it has “identified and captured a member of the international terrorist group Islamic State from a Central Asian nation who wanted to execute a terrorist act by blowing himself up against one of the representatives of India’s ruling circles.”

According to the statement, the arrested was recruited by ISIS to carry out suicide bombings in Turkey.

More details regarding this story are awaited as it is still emerging.

The central government has designated ISIS and all of its offshoots as terrorist organisations and added them to the First Schedule of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act of 1967.

The Union Home Ministry claims that ISIS spreads its ideology through a number of online social media sites. The relevant agencies are closely monitoring cyberspace in this regard, and appropriate legal action is taken.

Thankfully, Rakul Preet Singh’s Chhatriwali, directed by Tejas Prabhaa Vijay Deoskar, doesn’t digress much, and follows a crisp screenplay. There are some flaws here and there, but with all the humour and lighter moments, they can be somewhat overlooked.
