Hyderabad, April 10 (Maxim News) : In a significant political development, senior leader and former minister T. Jeevan Reddy met K. Chandrashekar Rao at his farmhouse in Erravelli on Friday, triggering intense speculation in political circles.
The two leaders, who were long-time rivals, shared a warm and emotional meeting. KCR personally welcomed Jeevan Reddy upon his arrival. During the interaction, Jeevan Reddy became emotional and embraced KCR, stating that he felt destined to work alongside him.
Sources indicate that Jeevan Reddy has been unhappy with recent developments in the Indian National Congress and now believes KCR’s leadership offers a better direction.
Reunion of Old Associates
Both leaders share a long political history in the undivided Karimnagar district. Their meeting after many years has drawn attention across Telangana’s political landscape.
Jeevan Reddy reportedly praised KCR’s fight for farmers and expressed dissatisfaction with the current Congress government. He is expected to formally join the Bharat Rashtra Samithi at a public meeting in Jagtial soon.
Considered a strong leader in the region, his possible entry into BRS is likely to boost the party’s cadre and could reshape political equations in the state.
