Hyderabad, Nov.24: Municipal Administration and IT Minister KT Rama Rao today appreciated that an ancient “Step Well” was restored in Gachchibowli area in the city. With other stakeholders, Special chief secretary and Information Commissioner Arvind Kumar inaugurated the step well which was renovated and brought back to life.
The Minister in his tweet said that the ancient step-well in Gachchibowli was restored. He appreciated the joint efforts made by special secretary and Information Commissioner Arvind Kumar, Chirac public school management and rainwater project foundation chief Kalpana Ramesh. KT Rama Rao appreciated that the combined efforts to restore the ancient step well is good to see.
The step well was nearly extinct with debris six months ago and it’s back to life, he appreciated. The minister also appealed to more schools to have corporate social responsibility for such works for the society.
