Etela Rajender Lashes Out at CM KCR

Make an End on CM KCR’s Rule: Etela Rajender

Hyderabad, Aug.2 (Maxim News): Former minister and BJP MLA Etela Rajender today called upon the people to end the autocratic rule of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

Stating that an opportunity to defeat KCR was received by the people of Huzurabad Assembly constituency, Etela said the people of Munugodu were now going to get the opportunity to defeat KCR.

Etela made these remarks while addressing the public meeting of the party held to resume the third phase of the Praja Sangrama Padayatra of State BJP president Bandi Sanjay. He said he had prayed Sri Laxmi Narasimha Swami to make the padayatra a grand success.

He said they would standby Bandi Sanjay until the flag of the BJP was hoisted in Telangana. Claiming that the BJP was going ahead in the State, he said they were only able to see their goal to defeat KCR and remove him from his seat.

Etela claimed that a man called him up while he was coming to attend the public meeting and told him that they were looking towards the BJP and added that the man had told him that they would now fight for the victory of the BJP irrespective of their caste and creed like they fought before 2014.

He mocked that CM KCR was ruling the State amid iron fencing and police protection and added that the CM was either seen at Pragathi Bhavan or his farm house.

He claimed that the Congress party was dying in the State and added that the BJP was ruling 19 States while noting that Telangana will be the 20th State in the pocket of the BJP after the next Assembly elections. (Hydnow)

Chhatriwali Movie Review: Rakul Preet Singh’s film is informative but lags in bits

I could never wrap my head around Bollywood’s obsession with continuously addressing condom as a chhatri or an umbrella. Not only it’s cringe to hear repeatedly but also, it somewhere defeats the whole purpose with which films around these subjects are made. Moreover, picking a taboo subject and making a film on it can turn out to be quite risky if you don’t stick to the agenda and beat around the bush. Thankfully, Rakul Preet Singh’s Chhatriwali, directed by Tejas Prabhaa Vijay Deoskar, doesn’t digress much, and follows a crisp screenplay. There are some flaws here and there, but with all the humour and lighter moments, they can be somewhat overlooked.
