Hyderabad, June 5 (Hydnow): CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka today took part in a Chandi homam and poornahuti ritual at Amberpet Mahankali temple.
Bhatti was accompanied by AICC Telangana incharge Secretary Srinivasan Krishnan, former MLA M. Kodanda Reddy and former MLC R. Naik. The homam was organised by senior leader V. Hanumantha Rao praying for fast recovery of party president Sonia Gandhi and her daughter Priyanka Gandhi from the deadly Covid infection.
The CLP leader and other party leaders performed special prayers at the temple for the well-being of Sonia Gandhi and her daughter Priyanka Gandhi.
Speaking on the occasion, VH said he held a three-day Chandi homam at the same temple in the past when Sonia Gandhi fell ill and added that he was holding the same three-day homam seeking fast recovery of their party leaders.
He hoped that the party would get back its lost glory under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi. (Hydnow)
