Amaravati, Jan.13 (Hydnow): Megastar Chiranjeevi today called on the chief minister of the state YS Jaganmohan Reddy and discussed about the problems faced by Telugu film industry .
Speaking to media persons at gannavaram airport later, Chiranjeevi expressed his happiness over the meeting and added that the CM had treated him like his brother and spoke to him in a cordial and gracious manner. “ I also had a feast with the CM.
The wife of the CM Bharati served the meal to me. I thank them from a bottom of my heart,” he said . Chiranjeevi said that he was appreciating the concern of the CM to make sure that the ticket prices were in the reach of the common man.
He said that he had explained about the problems of producers, exhibitors and theatre owners and added that the CM had responded positively on the issue while noting that the CM has assured him of taking a consensual decision on the ticket prices very soon.
Speaking further, he urged the Tollywood artists to not speak irresponsibly on the issue and added that he was making a request as the son of the industry and not as the elder of the industry. He expressed confidence that they would a get a consensual GO on the issue . Chiranjeevi said that he also told the CM about the screening of the fifth show in the theatres. (Hydnow)
