Minister Peddireddy Allegations on Chandrababu Naidu
According to mines minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, the former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s administration was engaged in sand exploitation.
At the secretariat, Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy delivered a speech on sand policy. Under the J.P. venture, sand mining occurred throughout the state, according to him.
The minister questioned, “If it is given the sub-contracts, what is the relationship with the government?” after it was given to ventures’ subcontractors.
According to Minister Peddireddy, 6.75 crore tonnes of sand have already been mined, and in 2023, 1800 crore rupees have been made.
