Newborn Baby Girl Found Abandoned Beside Railway Tracks

Hyderabad, April 14 (Maxim News) A newborn baby girl, barely a few days old, was found abandoned beside railway tracks in Nampally on Monday evening.

According to the police, the infant was discovered by locals beside the tracks between Lakdikapul Railway Station and Khairatabad Railway Station.

Unidentified persons reportedly left the infant under a bridge along the tracks and fled from the spot.

On receiving information, Nampally Railway Police reached the spot and found the baby wrapped in a light yellow towel. The infant, estimated to be around 15- days old, was immediately shifted to Niloufer Hospital for medical care.

Officials stated that the baby girl is stable and described her as having a wheatish complexion.

An investigation is on to trace the parents and determine the circumstances behind the abandonment. The recent birth records of nearby health centres are being checked. (Maxim News)
