Hyderabad, Dec 25 (Hydnow): Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police arrested one accused person by the name of Harsh Kumar, Aged 24 years from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh State who facilitated a Binance account to Chinese fraudsters and also purchased Cryptocurrency on behalf of Chinese with a cheated amount and transferred the same crypto to Chinese on their directions and seized One Realme 11x 5G Mobile Phone (2) One silver color Lenovo Ideapad S145 Laptop.

According to D.Kavitha, DCP, Cyber Crimes, Hyderabad, a complaint was received from victim R/o Tarnaka, Hyderabad stating that the Cyber fraudsters contacted her and informed them that they were from FedEx and a parcel was sent in her name and her mobile number using her aadhaar from FedEx Andheri East Mumbai Branch to Taiwan which has illegal contents in it and they said that to get her name cleared they have collected an amount of Rs. 5,98,725/-. Cyber Crime police, Hyderabad registered a case in Cr. No.964/2023 and investigated. 

The Cyber Fraudsters cheat innocent people and gain huge amounts from them by impersonating FedEx courier authorities and Police personnel and threatening innocent people by saying that some parcel, which has illegal contents like Drugs was sent in their Name and with their Aadhar, mobile number, etc, and to get their name clear and for not registering the case against them. In this case, the said accused Harsh Kumar facilitated a Binance account to Chinese fraudsters and also purchased Crypto currency on behalf of the Chinese with a cheated amount and transferred the same Crypto to the Chinese on their directions.

The team headed by Inspector of Police K. Haribhushana Rao consisted of team members P.Suresh SI, V.Narsing Rao, G.Govinda Rao,  B.Ravi Sankar, G.Venkatesh, Ch. Rajesh Kumar, A.Ramu,  N.Vamshi, PC 12392 under the direct supervision of D.Kavitha, and R.G Siva Maruthi, ACP, Cyber Crime PS, Hyderabad has cracked the said case at Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.
