Peddapalli: A 11-year-old girl was brutally murdered by her father in Telangana’s Peddapalli district on Thursday. The brutal murder took place in Battupalli village of Manthani mandal of the district.
Battupalli Sadaiah, who had gone to jail for killing his wife by strangulating her to death, had returned home recently. On Thursday morning, he pulled out an axe and hacked his daughter to death. Later, he attacked a shopkeeper in the area. The brutal attack has sent shock waves in the village.
According to the police, the mental condition of Sadaiah is not good. After receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot and took Sadaiah into custody. While he was being taken away by the police, the villagers stopped the car and demanded the police hand over the accused to them. The villagers said they would punish him.

As the police did not relent, the villagers went berserk and attacked the police. However, the police controlled the mob and dispersed the angry locals, and restored calm.
