Hyderabad: Police have apprehended three individuals involved in a counterfeit educational certificate racket. The suspects were associated with the Arjuna Academy, which allegedly sold fraudulent degrees from over 2 dozen universities.
The operation targeted individuals who had either failed exams or discontinued their education, charging them exorbitant fees for the fake certificates.
Police seized a cache of counterfeit certificates, mobile phones, and property documents. The academy primarily focused on open schooling and distance education programs.

The public is cautioned against falling prey to such schemes, which could lead to serious legal repercussions. Two accomplices are currently evading authorities.
